Dermal Fillers

JuvedermBeloteroRadiesse

Dermal Fillers are used to reverse the signs of ageing by eliminating fine lines and wrinkles and also replacing lost volume. As we age, the skin loses elasticity and soft tissue loss becomes inevitable. Restoration is possible by injecting Dermal Fillers into the affected areas to fill in the lines and wrinkles. Unlike surgical facelifts that stretch the skin, these wrinkle fillers add volume for a natural more youthful appearance.

Dermal Fillers are made from Hyaluronic acid which is a man made substance similar to the hyaluronic acid we all have within our body. These injectable fillers come in different thicknesses suitable for different areas of the face.

Most injectable fillers are administered within 30 minutes. Any discomfort can be managed with a topical anaesthetic applied to the area before treatment. In most cases the filler itself will contain local anaesthetic making the procedure pain free and comfortable. Dermal filler side effects include slight bruising and swelling which will subside within 24 hours. It is advisable not to indulge in any strenuous exercise, swimming and saunas for 24 hours after treatment. You may resume your normal day to day activities straight after your treatment.

Dermal Filler treatments give immediately visible results and will last for 6-12 months.
